After a delayed start to the season, college football is underway.

Most conferences have already began carrying the fight to each other, and the SouthEastern Conference (SEC), is one of them.

Each team will have a 10 game schedule, all against teams within the conference. Tennessee has 5 home games this semester: Missouri, Kentucky, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Florida.
Things will look a little different for fall home games.

Instead of the typical 102,455 seating capacity at Neyland, there will only be 25% of that allowed: somewhere around 25,614 seats. Among those 25,000+ seats, only 2,700 will be available for students.

Students will also only be able to have tickets based on two groups. Group A includes Mizzou, Kentucky, and Texas A&M. Group B includes Bama and Florida. Students are only able to apply for tickets for one group.

There will also be restrictions and new rules to follow for attendees.

No tailgating, game day shuttles, limited parking for Vol Navy members.

There will most likely be no Vol Walk, no cheerleaders, band performance at halftime, or even Smokey on the sidelines. SEC guidelines request that required members on the field only.

For Attendees: No cash purchases will be allowed. Masks will be required, and distance must be maintained.

The new gudelines set in place.

Regardless of the new rules, restrictions, and guidelines, it’s still football time in Tennessee.
